En copa Edinburgh, color oro cobrizo-ambarino, limpia, corona de espuma blanco hueso de retención media. Aroma a malta, levadura, algo de melaza, naranja amarga, especias. En boca entra dulzona con notas de levadura y especias, final amargo con toque herbáceo, algo alcoholica en boca. Diría de ella que no me fascina...

Thin creamy head on a still amber coloured body. Spiced fruit, orange & yeast aroma. Medium bodied, soft & smooth. Orange, yeast, spiced & biscuit tastes with a bitter finish. Deece.

75cl bottle after a TMBB ride up the Lawley. Pours a dark amber, good off-white head. Aroma of deep amber malt, light carmelisation, gentle spice. Flavour profile presents an admirable biere de garde character, malty sweet, not massively caramelised, gently spiced with some pokey alcohol. Ok.

Õlle on selline jook, et iga uus kord kui klaasi või pudeli suule tõstad, siis leiad midagi uut, sõltuvalt tuhandest-miljonist pisiasjast, mis hetke olukorda mõjutavad. Seega piirdun iga õlle juures selle tekstiga.

# 4005; 1/2024. Brewed for Lidl at Brasserie champigneulles. Vague, cellar and caramel aroma, slightly spicy, coriander. Brilliant deep gold body; persistent off-white head. Malty, mouldy, alcohol warmth, spicy, oxidized. Strange biere de garde with evident faults. 0,75 l, bottle, supermarket (Lidl), Bad Liebenzell (Swabia, Germany).

750ml bottle. Deep gold in colour, with a slight, white, head. Aroma of stone fruit, tangerines, spice and yeasty grains. Flavour started sweet, with more fruit, candy sugar and spices, with a slightly herbal edge and warming finish. Fine.

0.75l bottle from Lidl Bucharova. Shiny amber body, crystal clear, off-white head, thick, fairly big. Pleasant aroma, coriander and orange, almost lightly Jaffa-like. Dry taste, minerally, lightly malty, lightly oxidized, herbal touches, tart... very dried out. Quite meh, but not terrible. Well... at least it didn't cost that much and it smelled nice?
