Draught at the brewery, 1/30/16.
Pale, straw-golden body has a chill haze to it and a foamy, white head showing moderate retention.
A bit of orange and lemon in the nose shows more American character than a typical continental pils, though they never claim this to be a czech/german pils. Seemingly well-attenuated from the nose, with no sign of overly bready/doughy, sweet malts. No alcohol or flaw, quite floral and citric.
A bit more body than expected, but it is 6.2%. Bitter, though not resinous, with moderate citrus and floral characters. Dextrinous, but still mostly well-attenuated. Clean, and no sign of the alcohol. More like a pale ale, but whatever, it goes down fairly easily.
