Canned 10/26/16, drunk 12/21/16.
Dark ebony-mahogany body, indeterminable clarity. Greyish-tan head atop shows strong retention.
Coconut and cacao are both done tastefully in the nose, with fudge, raisin, rum and only light lactose behind it. Bready malts are minimal and roast is easygoing, as well. Kind of funny how much more drinkable and balanced this is than the much lower Broze we had right before it.
Malty and with hints of lactose, but nothing overdone, nor are the other adjuncts. Rich fudge tapers off nicely in to a dry, roasty, mildly acidic finish with moderate, tight carbonation and no alcohol or flaw.
