On tap-dissipating white ring-gold. A-clove/banana (all 3 of us got that on this batch), some lt fruit. T-follows with some spicing from beginning to late palate.

Draught at Row 34, 10/5/16.
Good clarity throughout this light, golden-blonde beer with a small-to-medium-sized white head that shows moderate retention.
Smells quite Belgian to me in the nose, with pears, apples and other similar esters being joined by light white pepper, bits of earth/plaster and lots of biscuity, vanilla-laden malts. It’s round, fairly soft and moderately fruity, with just a bit of malt sugar lying on the end. Clean and no peach-banana-clove character nor alcohol.
Quite carbonated, with a good attenuation, fairly soft, biscuity texture and light notes of vanilla and honey. Lots of pear-apple ester character, light white pepper and just a hint of spicy clove making for a rather straightforward, well-executed, Belgian pale ale. There’s a bit of green character as well as herbal notes, from the hops, which add light bitterness and just a hint of dry citrus rind. Pepper, ester, vanilla-honey malt linger on and the beer is well-balanced overall.
