Unreadable canned on date drunk 9/5/16.
Tangerine-orange body has plentiful copper-bronze-golden hues and a medium-sized, white head atop showing modest retention.
Seems one would expect a big juice bomb, given the name, but I guess thatโs not the case here. Rather, should be renamed citrus patrol, as itโs FULL of grapefruit, orange and lemon. Light cherry and pineapple augment the hop nose, with light but substantial caramel malts behind it. Some alcohol, light to moderate resin, detract.
Dextrinous body is nonetheless well-attenuated, with caramel, bread and biscuit lingering behind the huge grapefruit and orange notes. Lots of bitterness, with light pine and sharp alcohol. Malts are too dry and leave way too much acidity on the finish, fatiguing the palate quickly.
