Draught at the brewery, 3/9/18.
Glassy, drab brass-to-straw golden. Thin white head fades to cover quickly.
Very lemony in the nose with dry, white grapefruit skin and leafy, peppery, lightly vegetal notes. Cracker-like malts are extremely sparse and grainy. Very dry, yet clean.
Dry in the mouth, very much so (too much so, probably), with a touch of husky biscuit character. Lemon-grapefruit is pretty straightforward and competent, if very unexciting. Fine and drinkable, though and fairly flavorful for its size. Even a touch of juiciness emerges, as it warms.
