Canned 12/1/17, drunk 1/12/18.
Cloudy with a good head. Bright blonde-golden-peach.
Peachy-papaya-mango gives more of a NE IPA character than it does any Belgian sensibility. But then cotton candy and bubble gum arrive through the middle and the jig is up. Kind of like a DDH witbier? Very odd.
Soft and dry in the mouth, the yeast having highly, highly attenuated the beer. Lots of clove, some banana. Kind of a shitty yeast, to be honest. Tons of peach and bubble gum lingering with scratchy, husky cracker malts that are over-exposed. Clove fatigues the palate, as well. Very high, peppery, obnoxious carbonation. Even a month in the can hasn't done this much good.

Pours slightly hazed gold into a shaker. Bright white head with excellent retention recedes leaving scant sheets. Lemony yeast, peach and apricot aromas. Dry with sweet summer pit fruit upfront turning to bitter tea, overripe papaya and guava with a touch of anise in the medium length finish.
