Draught at the brewery, 12/22/17.
Clear, raspberry juice-looking color. No head.
Good mix of raspberry juice and Belgian esters. Raspberry certainly leads the charge, but isn't overdone and seems well-attenuated from the nose. No funk at all, nor any particularly unusual or bacterial-character. If this is supposed to be a Flanders, you certainly can't tell from the nose.
In the mouth it tastes like a raspberry kettle sour. Clean, fruity, bright with no funk and fairly minimal sourness. Very straightforward, "sterile" and absolutely nothing interesting at all going on, despite the raspberries being done quite well. This is about as close to a Flanders red as it is to a Mezcal. Moderate effervescence, light bodied, mostly dry, tart with light salinity and pepper.
