Mixed Culture Farmhouse Ale fermented with Peaches.
P-Funk, the 6th and final release from the 2017 Funky Town program represents the culmination of the year. To finish it off, we opted to, for the first time, introduce fruit to the mixed culture and selected peaches for their complimentary flavor. The end result is a vibrant and tart peach laden character with a dry, vinous finish.

750mL bottled August 2017, drunk 12/15/17.
Lightly hazy bronze-golden-maize body has an off-white head that fizzles out immediately.
Very nice acid blend in the nose with light peach character that has integrated nicely and adds leather and lovely mineral and spice to the moderate lactic acidity. No alcohol or flaw in the nose. Bright and rustic with light cereal and other grain-like notes behind it.
Peach and soft vanilla with light biscuity character. Fairly low acidity; certainly nothing punchy or aggressive. Lots of skin-like character and very light juice on the end mixing with mild tartness. Fine carbonation gives way to a very dry, light, perhaps slightly thin finish. The peaches and acidity are great here but it's a bit lacking on actual beer character and depth.
