Draught at the brewery, 12/13/17.
Glassy auburn-golden body topped by a beige head that fades to a ring rather steadily.
Very expressive, floral and spice-heavy nose, yet it's all honey-derived (or mostly) and smells great. Tons of black pepper, light lavender and orange blossom-like notes with residual honey creating a pseudo "malt backing" that easily balances. No alcohol, flaw or funky stuff going on here.
In the mouth it's soft, light and effervescent, with a bit of cracker and biscuit up front turning to lightly sticky, residual sugar from the honey. It's almost perfectly balanced between the sweetness and spiciness and never gets overbearing/cloying or syrupy. Wonderful flavor to the honey and lingering herbs and pepper. Awesome.

[2/1/17] Draught at Lamplighter Brewing Company in Cambridge. Golden. Chamomile, spice, honey, a bit of fruitiness, sweetish note, bitterish finish. Not really my thing.
