Draught at the brewery, 11/30/17.
Cherry-amber body shows high clarity and a beige head atop showing moderate retention.
Fruity cherry, light pine, moderate orange rind and a good helping of caramel-tinged honey malt create a very soft, fruity nose that shows little sign of resin and no alcohol or flaw.
Soft, malty body is sweet and succulent with engaging carbonation that carries about the gentle bitterness, earthy and orange hop notes, leading to a very fruity finish. Honey, biscuit, vanilla and caramel all provide a very strong malt backbone and yet the hops still add enough flavor and mild bitterness to mostly balance. There's a touch of light soap and spice that doesn't belong, on the very end, but is otherwise very well-done and drinkable.
