Draught at the brewery, 9/2/17.
Moderately-to-heavily hazy, pale, brass-golden body with a well-formed, well-retained, white head.
Juicy in the nose with tropical fruits being most prominent followed by softer, not aggressive citrus notes. Lime, mango, pineapple is pretty standard and there's no resin, alcohol, doughy yeast and very little malt to interrupt things.
In the mouth it's equally juicy, soft, malty and dry with pineapple-mango-lime characteristics of Australian hops (didn't read up on what's in here exactly). A bit of bitterness and more citrus on the end, moreso than the nose would suggest. Cracker and biscuit-like malt round out a very "classic" take on the NE pale ale. Lovely, as always, from this gem.
