Taster pour at the brewery. Appearance is clear golden yellow with decent sparkle, ring of off-white head and light lace. Aroma is herbal, musky. Taste is herbal, musky and dank. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with smooth, frothy texture, average carbonation and fairly dry finish. Overall, misses the mark for me in terms of citrusy and juicy.

Sample at The Thirsty Moose Manchester. Slightly hazy light golden color with a thin white head. Resinous earthy pine with a hint of citrus and some sweet bready malt underneath. Decent beer.

Draught at the brewery, 7/30/17.
Clear, bright blonde-to-copper. Small, white head atop recedes to a thin layer.
Mosaic is strong in the nose, or maybe more accurately, pine and unripe nectarine/kumquat are strong in the nose. Some hop stink with aspirin and grapefruit rind persist as sparse, cracker-like malts are faint in the background.
Bitter as all hell with heavily over-boiled hops contributing strong astringency and resin. Piney and massively fatiguing. Thankfully, even though the hops are butchered here, the beer is fairly malty and dry with no fermentation flaws. Moderate carbonation. Light cracker and biscuit appear in texture, fully drowned out by biting resin.
