On tap at Aeronaut, pours an opaque cloudy peach colour with a small white head. Aroma brings out fresh banana upfront, with some clove and light citrus. Flavour is along the same lines, with banana, clove and light citrus. Lots of banana and clove here. Solid.

Taster pour at the source. Appearance is hazy, light brown with no sparkle, thin ring of white head with fair retention. Aroma is wheat, wet cardboard, mild fruit. Taste is wheat, fruity esters. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with thin texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, a respectable representative of the style but not earth shattering.

Draught at the brewery, 7/11/17.
Moderately hazy, though not really cloudy like many in the style. Maize-golden with a medium-sized white head showing moderate retention.
Spicy and malty in the nose with light-to-moderate banana and clove. Honey, biscuit, very light caramel and white pepper balancing on the finish. Little/no bubble gum and the banana is light, so I'm definitely on board with those aspects. Clean and with no alcohol.
Malty and soft in the mouth with engaging carbonation and tons of honey, spongecake and graham cracker. Lightly floral hops mix with white pepper and other herbal notes to balance, though it remains fairly malt-forward for the style. Low banana/bubble gum, again, and ending with light clove and more malt. No alcohol or flaw. Crisp and drinkable finish greatly helps.

At the source: Pours yellow with a white head. Aroma is banana, clove, and a good bit of other spice. The banana really dominates here. Taste is sweet at the front with a nice bit of hoppiness further back. Nice aftertaste. This was a well-put-together hefe.
