Draft at the source. Murky orangish-bronze, foamy white head. Aroma of citrus, resin, orange zest. Taste follows nose with the strawberry now coming through. Some caramel malt. Pine. Juicy bitter finish.

Murky/soupy, very New England IPA-y appearance is a copper-caramel color with an immediately-disappearing, white head.
Similar aromatically to Experimental Jetset though a little more classic pine/grapefruit character with less spice and lush dankness. More overtly tropical, as well, with mango pit and kiwi augmented by a lightly caramel-accented honey-like malt sweetness. No resin or alcohol and the pine doesn’t dominate. I like that many of their DIPAs are quite different from one another; not just juice bombs with the same exact yeast and tropical fruit character like so many in this category.
Quite malty with caramel, bread and biscuit creating a soft, supple texture with light, engaging carbonation and good attenuation overall. The malt is a bit more forward here than in many of their IPAs but to combat that, this one is also very, very juicy. Kiwi, mango and trailing pine and grapefruit add back some balance via more dry, bitter notes as spicy, Galaxy-like notes linger. Another nice one; drinks very easy for its size.

Poured into a tulip, the appearance was a dark hazy pale orange color with a finger’s worth of sustaining white foamy head that fell off super slow.
The aroma had some sweet to juicy orange juice rind bitterness. Light tangerine, some vanilla, coupled by some strawberries and honeydew.
The flavor leaned towards the sweet side. Super soft berry to tangerine aftertaste sliding into the finish.
The feel was about medium bodied with a fair sipping quality about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt good. Some smoothness flows against some of the harshness of the style on my tongue.
Overall, another really good DIPA.
