Draught at the brewery, 11/2/18.
Lightly hazy, soft-hued, maize-golden. White head is small, showing moderate-to-low retention.
Lightly juicy with honey-like malt notes and fruity esters showing pineapple, juicy orange and ripe nectarine. Not a full-on bubble gum NE IPA and it definitely still preserves elements of a WC IPA, with light pine and grapefruit still sitting on the edges. Probably the same yeast as Consumate Rioter, just some fruitier hops and maybe a little more base malt character. No alcohol or flaw.
In the mouth it's very soft, with strong nectarine and pineapple leading to tangerine and lemon on the end with low-to-moderate bitterness and engaging carbonation. Clean and not yeasty, nor any bubble gum but with well-expressed honey-like malts and lingering sweetness (not too much) on the finish alongside fruity hops and light esters.
