Hefeweizen marks another foray into the brewing traditions of Bavarian with our interpretation of this classic style. Pouring a brassy yellow color with moderate haze and billowing white foam, a graceful nose delivers aromas of soft fluffy biscuits interwoven with hints of dried fruits, banana, light bubblegum, and subtly spicy clove. The palate closely follows the nose while delicate highlights of vanilla and faintly sweet Meyer lemon elegantly support the luscious, creamy mouthfeel and clean malt bill. Light to medium-bodied with refreshing carbonation, Hefeweizen has a fully restrained bitterness that makes for a brisk finish.

STYLE: Hefeweizen German Wheat Ale

Hazy bright orange colour, moderate sized creamy ecru-ish white head; aroma and taste of a good weizen: wheaty/bread crusty, dried banana and some citrusy notes; really enjoyable

Draught @ Trillium Canton. Smooth, sweet and yeasty with some ripe fruits and banana notes. Okay, quite sweet and smooth hefeweizen.

Pours a slightly hazy, light, copper-gold, with smallish head. Aroma has the sour banana and clove esters one would expect from a wheat beer. Flavor follows suit, along with some cereal flavor, some maltiness. It is slightly sweeter than most wheat beers I've tried, but that's not to its detriment. This is a pretty good stab at the hefeweizen style by a company better known for hazy IPAs.

Canned 10/31/18, drunk 11/2/18.
Cloudy, deep, peach-maize golden body has a large, off-white head that recedes to absolutely nothing fairly rapidly.
Honey, cereal, biscuit, cracker, very light clove-banana and low bubble gum show a very Weihenstephaner-like yeast character in the nose. Balaned, traditional and with nothing weird or off going on.
In the mouth it's very classic German hefe. Well-attenuated, honey and cereal-rich malts slowly allow banana, clove and bubble gum to mix in, as gentle acidity balances. Fairly tight carbonation with good attenuation and a soft, supple texture. Can't tell it apart from a German Hefe, so not much you can complain about here. Very solid.

Pours hazy orange into a weizen glass. White head with medium retention turns sickly andrecedes to hug rim. Lemon and banana aromas. Soft with sweet banana and bubblegum upfront turning to crisp clove and banana bread in the lasting finish.
