Lightly hazy, deep brass with a white head atop fading quickly to a ring.
Lots of melon and white pepper in the nose. Pretty classic CBC saison that eschews the crappy American esters and phenols. No alcohol or flaw, low hop character. Biscuit and light cereal in the malt department.
Very peppery phenols are strong in the mouth, with a soft, malty texture and good attenuation and carbonation. Lots of mineral and tons of white pepper, typical of their saison yeast. More malt depth than usual for them, with lingering white pepper and bright herbal hops.
