Draught at the brewery, 8/17/18.
Heavily cloudy, peachy-cantaloupe with off-white bubbles that quickly fizzle away.
Rather gentle, pine-laced nose shows light ginger and big fruity ester notes (strawberry, peach, apple). Malts underneath show biscuit and very little, if any, sweetness, though it doesn't seem bare or overly acidic. Light honey emerges on the end, with more pine, vegetal notes and strong herbal notes.
In the mouth it's soft, biscuity, dry, showing light carbonation, though engaging. Pine, lavender, ginger and black pepper all collect on the palate, as fruity esters lighten things somewhat. Very gentle bitterness and surprisingly, light-bodied, easy-drinking.

On tap at Earth Eagle, pours a cloudy peachy yellow, no head. Nose is bizarre, with lots of earthy roots, light blueberries and a touch of the ginger. Flavour brings out the ginger upfront, with fruity earthy notes and yeast. Too jumbled, but it's not bad for what it is.

Guest tap at the Great North 2nd Birthday Bash. Slightly hazy with a decent frothy off white head. Some fruit and earth on the nose with bits of sweet fruity maltiness. Flavor follows the aroma light earth and spice to counter a fruity bready maltiness. Pretty damn tasty beer. I normally don't enjoy a gruit but this one is very tasty!
