Draught at the brewery, 8/15/18.
Lightly-to-minimally hazy, warm-toned, peach-golden. White head atop is small, showing moderately-low retention.
Cracker, lactic acid, highly attenuated mango and even a touch of lightly spicy, perfume-like character slowly give way to a bit more biscuit and honey to balance the acid. Fruit is well-integrated, though the beer seems extremely dry and attenuated, with the acidity very clear and exposed. Mango-like essence remains behind, nicely authentic and enjoyable. No alcohol or flaw.
In the mouth it's indeed quite dry with bare cracker and light biscuit giving a very light body in concert with the moderately acidic kettle sour aspect. Doesn't feel unfinished or rushed, however, and the mango is flavorful, though very attenuated itself. Definitely improves with warming, gaining softer textures and a rounder fruit character. Bright, snappy and crisp and well-done. Hard to complain much about a beer being very dry.
