Draught at the brewery, 8/15/18.
Clear, muted, straw-to-golden. Small white head shows moderate retention.
Soft, fruity nose shows plentiful ester with nectarine, strawberry, pear and apple prominent. Light white pepper and phenols complement nicely, as malts seem to add both light biscuit and honey, seemingly well-attenuated. No alcohol, flaw or any crude esters/phenols, nor any citrusy hops. Just herbs and grass in that aspect.
In the mouth it's lightly sweet with honey and rich biscuit. Tight carbonation and strong attenuation with some clove, though certainly not problematic amounts. Grassy, herbal hops and a good deal of pepper phenol on the end, with light remnants of fruity esters and even a touch of toasted malt character. Very well-done, clean and yet not sterile or American-feeling at all.
