Draught at the brewery, 6/28/18.
Clear, brass-lemon gold. White head falls rapidly to ring.
Lemon and flowers up front, in the nose, transition to very light lime-mango, NE IPA-like notes with just a shade of juiciness to it. Very clean and snappy, with crisp grains and no resin or booze.
Strong nectarine-lemon character with substantial, honey-like malts up front that quickly dry via spritzy carbonation, earth, banana and white pepper yeast notes. Light white grape lingers with moderate acidity. Very interesting stuff and I love the progression from rich honey to dry biscuit, earth and yellow fruits. Very champagne-like, in a sense. Never punchy/twangy or resinous.
