Big grapefruit riwaka here. Hazy orange yellow pour with ok head and some lacing. Light bitter end. Pretty good balance, and even body for a hazy. Tap at High Side.

Burk från Fox Farm. Djupt disig gul med vit krona. Söt och tropiskt fruktig med toner av mango, apelsin, pomelo, röd grapefrukt. Lätt grön och brännig beska. På det hela helt ok.

Canned 5/11/22, drunk 5/23/22. Peachy-copper-maize. Off-white head is large, well-retained. Heavily hazy. Nose is just....wow. Sulfur, white wine, intense mineral, earth...guava...passion fruit. I don't know, it's very complex. I don't know that I've had a single-hop Riwaka but I'm very impressed. Malts are rustic with biscuit and cracker, hints of light honey. No flaw, alcohol, resin or weird yeast. Similar tropical, white wine, mineral-rich flavors. Absolutely stunning is right. Soft, chewy malts are well-attenuated and there's no flaw or weird yeast, nor any resin. Malts could be a touch deeper with a bit more soft and rich honey, but the hops are just jaw-dropping. So much funk, wine and mineral.

Pours hazy gold into a shaker. White head with medium retention recedes leaving scant spiders. Earthy mango skin aromas. Soft with sweet mango, passion fruit and lychee front to back. Medium length earthy citrus peel finish.

Can (7/1/20) pour from Ernie Adamo. Appearance is opaque, milky dark yellow with light lazy sparkle at the edges of the glass, thin cap of white head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is really strong combination of tangerine/orange citrus and herbs. Taste is dominant musky herb with milder fruit contribution and bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with thick texture, soft carbonation with late lively kick that stings the tip of the tongue and lightly fruity/herbal but mostly bitter finish. Overall, absolutely LOVED the aroma and wish the taste had mirrored it. Will look forward to trying other Riwakas. Still good but excessive carbonation detracted a bit.
