Brewed in collaboration with our friends at the historic Eggenberg Brewery in Austria. Unfiltered golden hue with a crackery malt character. Sourdough and lemon zest mixed with a classic floral herbaceousness derived from hops brought over by the Eggenberg team from the Mühlviertel region of Austria.

Pours bright gold into a shaker. Bright white head with good retention recedes leaving soapy lacing. Sweet hay and biscuit aromas. Sweet hay, lemon and sourdough front to back. Lasting, earthy finish.

Canned 4/12/22, drunk 5/3/22. Clear, bright, brass-golden with a medium-sized, white head showing moderately-strong retention. Apricot, peach, white grape, mineral, dense, herbaceous hops and rich honey all bode well. Clean, crisp, malty with balancing noble hops and just a touch of vanilla, perhaps. Soft, malty, rich, dense. Wow. Even brewed at Schilling, this still reminds of the intense malt character that Eggenberg is famous for. Very malty, though well-attenuated with plentiful white grape, honey, a touch of earth and cellar must with moderate, herbal bitterness that balances nicely. Pretty frickin impressive how malty and rich this is for its size, and yet the mineral, white grape and fresh herbal hop character is there to balance, as well. Collaboration with Schilling and Eggenberg was a big surprise for me. You love to see it.

Can from the Packie Brilliant light gold with a frothy bone white head that persists. Bready light cracker and faint lemon with floral earthy hops to counter. Crisp easy to drink.
