Nice light saison packing a fun medley of fruit flavor. Peach, cherry, and grape balanced nicely, lingering tannic tanginess.

On tap at Meddlesome Moth, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out sweaty grape and peach skins, buggy notes, and some oak. Flavour is dry, with plenty of bugs, oak, and tart peach skins. Musty and buggy, with moderate tart finish. Pleasant.

750mL bottled 2/18/21, drunk 4/17/22. Clear, well-carbonated, cider-to-soft-peach-tinted golden with a ring of bubbles at the top. Big aromatics while pouring, releasing tons of well-developed, soft, but lively and bright Brett notes, as well as even fruit character. Nice lactic finish with rustic grains underneath seeming quite supportive. No alcohol or flaw. Big, malty, tannin-heavy texture with plentiful sweetness, though it's necessary on account of the big lactic and moderate acetic character. Oaky tannins and soft fruitiness keep it on the calmer side, but it's still quite sour. While the sweetness is somewhat necessary, I wish it weren't, as it gets just a bit cumbersome between the sugars and the thick/chewy texture. Says drink within 3 years; it's been one, but it feels like this could easily use the full 3.
