Bottled 5/2/21, drunk 4/3/22. Gushing, bright burnished copper, still clear though with a rapidly fizzling, white head. Smells like raspberry in the nose. Super fruity with dollops of honey outdoing the yeast phenolics. But it still smells fresh and authentic. No alcohol or flaw. In the mouth it's spicier and less fruity than the nose; quite oddly different. White pepper (not heavy) and very light clove with chewy buckwheat and very light tartness mixed in with honey-like sweetness on the finish. Soft and malty but well-attenuated. Less saison character here than in the other three in this four pack. More malt/grain character and honey, but still quite enjoyable nonetheless.

Pours deep hazy orange-tinged amber into a tulip. Bright white head with excellent retention recedes leaving trailing sheets. Earthy multigrain and straw aromas. Crisp with earthy sweet toasted raisin bread, citrus, earthy honey upfront. Slick, lasting pith and honey finish.
