Bottled 6/10/21, drunk 3/18/22. Coppery-gold, good clarity despite slight gushing. White head quickly fades. Nose is earthy, light vegetal from the honey notes with black and low white pepper alongside hints of raspberry, sweet honey and rustic grains. Great saison character in the fashion of Dupont with no unwanted esters/phenols or alcohol. Soft and malty, clean, with black pepper, mineral, slight orange, raspberry and floral notes with plentiful but not cloying honey on the finish. Light acidity and great attenuation on the malts leaving biscuit, hay and other rustic grain character behind. Clean with no alcohol noted.

Pours hazy gold into a tulip. Bright white head with good retention recedes to skim surface. Sweet honey and berry aromas. Soft with sweet honey and caramel upfront turning to mild earthy berry seeds in the warm medium length finish.
