Canned 1/10/22, drunk 2/6/22. Very dark brass-to-copper with strong amber honey tones and a massive, off-white head that shows strong retention. Heavily hazy. More stone fruits in the nose, than citrus, initially, with hints of vanilla, honey, graham cracker and biscuit in the background, growing stronger as it warms and breathes. Peach and apricot nectar flavor is deceptively soft, very juicy and balanced ever so slightly by mild bitterness from the hops. Honey and biscuit maltiness balances, as well, and it's supple, almost creamy and well-attenuated. Was ready for the abrasive, disruptive tangerine juice/acid character that these citrus IPAs often have but it's no where to be found, thankfully. Lovely stuff. Super easy drinking, soft and no booze or heavy acidity from the hops.
