(Keg at Pikkulintu Puotila, 20251208) The beer poured amber and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grass, molasses and toasted malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, molasses, toasted malts, toffee and bitterness. Aftertaste had toasted malts, grass and bitterness. Good looks. Otherwise too much on the sweet side.

Thanks omhper! Deep goldeny amber colour with a small slightly off-white head. Aroma is toffee, mild grains and some toasted tones with mild wooden and herbal tones. Flavour is toffee, some toasted tones, mild grains and some sweet wooden tones. Mellow, and really quaffable. A bit sweeter than your typical Märzen/Oktoberfest, but really nice brew. Big and bold, though by the ABV not that massive.

From tap at BeerTemple, Amsterdam. Bready malts with toasted malt, caramel, breadcrust. Moderate sweet and light bitter. A very fine Märzen.

Draught Canary Square, 10/6/21. Clear dark amber-maple, no head. Good, deeply malty nose. Heavy caramel, burnt honey, overly toasted malt. Very little hop or yeast character. Very malty. Both crystal-like but also with soft honey. A bit of weird soap on the very end...could be the bar. Very sweet and sluggish though. Super low carbonation. I know it hasnt been on tap long so not sure what the issue is here. Maybe too much specialty malt? Maybe too much malt in general?
