Pouring a hazy, golden yellow, Fuzz Effect's juicy aroma leaps from the glass. Notes of a lush tropical smoothie, fresh-pressed white grape juice, and lychee sorbet race across the palate. Each sip is silky, coating the tongue with uncut hop delight. With just enough sweetness to complement the waves of fruit aromatics, Fuzz Effect finishes gently bitter and highly satisfying.

Pours a bright, hazy, neon yellow, with minimal head. Aroma has tropical fruit and citrus, with some green onion and sharp cheese notes. Flavor follows, with a fairly strong level of hop bitterness that creeps in near the front and follows through to the finish. Soft, smooth mouthfeel.

Pours murky dark pear into a nonic. Bright white head with medium retention recedes leaving scant sheets. Dusty mango peel, golden syrup and lychee aromas. Medium bodied with sweet golden syrup, passion fruit and mango front to back. Lasting dusty tropical fruit skin finish.

Draught Fort Point, 8/27/21.
Heavily hazy, orange juice. White head immediately fizzles out.
Dense nose, not very redolent of recent Nelson ipas from Trillium (Pannicle, Cutting Tiles, Dot Ave) with a lot more raw white grape and less stone fruit, white wine and mineral. But it was a high, high bar set; this is still very nicely done, with cracker and biscuit malts gently balancing. Very light honey notes and mild juiciness. No alcohol or flaw noted.
Somewhat acidic or moreso than expected with a bit of a gritty/astringent hop texture dedpite the generally soft, malty textures. Orange juice, white grape/wine and various tropical fruits with light to moderate sweetness and low but engaging carbonation. Definitely in the vein of Headroom which I think is obnoxiously over-hopped leading to way too much astringency from hop particulate and acid. But this one's maybe a bit less offensive than Headroom, though also more dry so perhaps it's more over-pronounced.
