Canned 6/8/21, drunk 7/29/21.
Large, persistent, white head tops a moderately hazy, rosy-peach-golden body. Kinda weird with the haziness...
Smells peachy and soft with light grains and a kiss of herbal hops. Does not smell like a czech pale lager...But it doesn't smell bad. Kind of reminds me of a rustic pale ale. With warming there's a bit of mineral character that reminds of a lager but it still has lots of blandness from the grain and/or whatever the particulate in suspension is.
In the mouth it's soft and fruity with good attenuation and a gentle, balancing bitterness. Again, reminds of a pale ale with the chewy texture and big, peachy fruitiness. Not really much crispness on the finish, but again, it's very pleasant, just not what's advertised. Rating is more to what the beer in front of me is, not against what it should be stylistically (except the appearance).
