Brewery draught, 12/21/22. Heavily hazy, orange juice. White head to ring. Spicy, juicy, dank nose. Lovely. Some cracker and honey for easy balance. White wine and dank spice. Soft with heavy melon and sweet mango. Spice and melon balance white bread-like malt. Punchy tropical fruits. Syrupy texture. Weird stuff.

Pours hazy pear into a shaker. Bright white head with good retention recedes leaving spot lacing. Mango, pineapple and passion fruit aromas. Soft and thick with sweet melon and lychee upfront turning to hot golden syrup before the lasting tropical fruit skin, pith and peel finish. Nice.

Can pour from the brewery. It's an opaque, dark yellow with light sparkle at the edges of the glass, finger-width foamy white head with fair retention and nice lacing. Aroma is strong, well balanced mix of tropical fruit, melon, grapefruit and stone fruit. Taste is strong grapefruit, citrus and milder melon and tangerine. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with thick, frothy texture, soft carbonation and juicy finish as taste. Overall, the taste is quite good but the aroma is the star of the show. While mouthfeel has a thick, frothy texture, the final impression actually drinks kind of light, especially for the style. First exposure to this brewer--I'm impressed!
