Brewed with rye from our friends at Nitty Gritty Grain, and Sterling, Simcoe and Centennial on the dry-hop. Leaning into a slightly malt-forward backbone, this iteration of Odd Pets provides a warming spice and notes of fresh bread. On the palate we find floral notes and a hint of honeysuckle. A tinge of Juicyfruit comes through on the finish along with fresh citrus.

Canned 11/17/22, drunk 12/15/22. Strawberry-blonde-golden. Small, spotty, off-white head. Floral nose and light berry and other rye spice with good minerality and maybe a hint of sulfur. Clean, low yeast character with more of an APA quality to it than a NEPA. Yeah, quite APA-ish in flavor with sweaty, piney and spicy hops with floral and nutty rye. Soft, chewy, extremely dry texture and light body. Almost a mint-like finish. I don't know...it's different and a change of pace from all the New England style crap out there, but I'm still not sure it's really any better. Those hops are awfully sweaty, piney, oddly floral. Does have a reasonable amount of flavor/texture for its size I guess.
