Odin's Elixir takes our flagship DIPA recipe, Elixir, and ferments it with a Norwegian kveik yeast. This yeast ferments quickly and yields an aroma of fresh pineapple, mango and tangerine.

Brewery draught, 12/1/22. Deep bronze-brass-maize, heavily hazy. White head shows moderate retention. Juicy, fruity, light touch of bubble gum, low hop acidity. Pretty standard. Clean, no booze or twang. Soft, malty, aggressively kveiky (I hate this yeast in NEIPAs, it's way too yeasty and exacerbates the fruit, juice and low bitterness). Good maltiness, lingering light pine, heavy citrus, mango and bubble gum. Low bitterness, but some yeasty astringency from phenols lingering.
