Our take on a modern German Festbier. The brew pours a deep golden color with a thick white head. Crisp with light bready notes, backed with an earthy bitterness. Prost!

Brewery draught, 12/1/22. More auburn than the marzen, clear, small, off-white head, low retention. Fruity, nutty, specialty malt forward. Seems very marzen-like, not so much Festbier. Clean, though. Nutty, toasty, malty but drying out heavily with heavy specialty malt. Lower hop character, less base malt than the marzen. Again, clean, but not to style.
