Brewery draught, 10/20/22. Lightly hazy, peach-maize. Neat, off-white head atop is well-retained. Smells like intense, juicy cashmere. Sweeter than they usually are with less potpourri/spice. Cantaloupe, peach, mango, very juicy and rich with no resin but also little in the way of what I associate w Nelson...malts seem quite dense, with lots of white bread sweetness. In the mouth it's full of melon and white bread malt sweetness. Bitterness is low but there's no real cohesion here, or clarity of hops. Popcorn, rice, mild pine, lemon rind, twangy pineapple. Honestly it tastes like bad Sabro. Fine attenuation but it just keeps getting twangier and twangier with every sip. Sour citrus....sourdough. These hybrid IPAs are so hit or miss.
