Brewery draught, 10/20/22. Clear, deep maize-to-light-amber. Beige head quickly to ring. Lots of toast, toffee and honey, less-so on hops or mineral. But clean, of course, with light herbs and pepper on the finish. Soft, very malty, tight carbonation and balanced with light hops and moderate medium malts. Maybe a bit too much specialty malt for my liking. Lots of toasted sourdough augmenting the already strong base malt. The attenuation is fine and the maltiness would make any decoction brewer proud, but it's a bit much, which is impressive for its size. Brewery draught, 9/24/24. Pretty much the same as two years ago. No significant differences. Still a very strong, robust example for its size.
