Taproom draught, 9/29/22. Clear, light-amber-golden. Small, off-white head, low retention. Not much of a description for this one so wasn't sure what to expect. Didn't expect this much vanilla. It's not poorly-done or anything, just a lot of it, though it does blend with the soft, honey and graham cracker-like malt pretty well. Not a whole lot in the way of spices, though. Perhaps just a touch of orange? Soft, very malty, with a blanket of sweet-like vanilla over everything and very little spicing. Some spicing here would be highly appreciated for balance. As is, it's clean, flavorful and interesting, but ultimately just too much sweetness.
