Taproom draught, 9/29/22. Clear amber-cherry. Small, beige head sits at ring. Not sure if I get the cacao, which is great. Though it's certainly chocolatey. Cola and vanilla with brown sugar. Seems quite sweet from the nose. Sweet and chocolatey. Lots of cacao. Eh, it's well-done but overbearing on an otherwise lighter lager. Some hop bitterness but it's fleeting. Maple, brown sugar, chocolate. Certainly rich. Would have been better as a Bock.
