Reviewed from notes.
Can to tulip.
Appearance: glossy burnt yellow color with a slight transparency about it; a quickly dissipating foamy head didn't leave any lace
Aroma: loads of basil; some lemon and tomato-like vegetable sweet juiciness; green pepper? yeah, I think so.
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a savory to sweet and slightly tart to spicy (peppery noted) character; finishes tomato-like with some basil herbal sweet tones
Texture: light to medium bodied; sessionable; some smoothness along the tongue but also some tart acidity activating some subtle harshness to the tongue (mostly pretty faint, though)
Overall: interesting beer to have tried, and though it might be odd, I think I could come back to this preferably in the Summer.

Pours slightly hazed gold into a shaker. White head quickly dissipates to nothing. Hay and pepper aromas. Crisp with sweet lemon and mildly tart underripe tomato upfront turning to herbed bread and biscuit in the medium length finish.

Undated can drunk 9/25/22. Minimally hazy, muted copper-brass. Little/no head. Smells fairly mild with light tomato and plentiful basil. Low acidity from the souring. Malt is soft, biscuity/crackery. Low sourness, bordering none, in the mouth, leaves malt to sweeten things relatively strongly. Basil and roasted tomato are authentic and tastefully done. Soft, malty texture, lingering basil and honey-like sweetness.
