(Cask at Craft Beer Co Islington, London, 26 Nov 2016) Reddish brown colour with foamy, off-white head. Roasted, malty nose with notes of caramel, dark bread, dried fruit, wort, orange peel and hints of spices. Malty, roasted taste with roasted malt, caramel, dark bread, cola, dried fruit and a balanced spicy bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Nice one.

Cask half, hand-pulled in the Crown & Anchor, Brixton on 22nd Jan 2017. Red hue to the dark amber body, the head a lasting beige affair. Semi-sweet tasting with malty molasses ruling both the nose and flavour. Not as exciting as I had hoped.
