A real fine West Coast IPA brewed with barley and wheat malts, and hopped with very large amounts of Citra and Chinook. This IPA really melds some of that new school hop fruitiness with a perfect nostalgic punchy citrus and pine. We find notes of tangerine marmalade, pine barren honey, dapper citrus executives, juicy peach slices, modern cannabis shopping, and a homemade vanilla steamer.

Undated, fresh can, drunk 9/5/22. Clear bronze-brass. Small, white head fades slowly to cover. Big, big mineral/house yeast character with nectarine, apricot and spicy pine on the very end. Sparse, crackery malts, yet supportive enough, easily balancing the relatively low acidity from the hops. So clean and fruity with gentle, but still apparent pine/grapefruit. Soft and malty, great attenuation, great malt depth, appropriate sweetness from honey and bread dough character. Spicy, lightly piney, not sour/twangy at all. Juicy and full of nectarine and apricot. Obviously a bit of a different take on the style. I suppose purists will wonder where the gross amounts of acid and resin and pine are, but this is highly drinkable and balanced and what I want from an IPA, regardless of what you call it.
