Pours a hazy gold with almost meringue like head from a bottle. Nose is intense: I'm getting fresh mown grass, musty hay, lemongrass, faint clove and buttermilk biscuit. Flavor is similar, more citrus forward but with a fair amount of funk. Acidity is slightly off kilter, just a little more sharp than I think they wanted. Very good beer.

Bottle pour at brewery. Lovely looking gold with stiff white head. Nose is peppery and hay. Tastes of hay, sharp pepper, grass, herbs, minerals and banana. Farmhouse finish. Loveky

330mL bottled 4/26/22, drunk 8/11/22. Clear, deep brass. Large, off-white head is bolstered by plentiful carbonation. Oh yeah. That's mineral/plaster. Did they pour me a Saison Dupont?? Pepper phenols and rustic grains with less hop character than your average batch of Dupont, but still clean and snappy. Dry, but malty. Soft yet with a pleasing grain on the finish. Good acidity but not tart. Great phenolics but minimal clove and no banana or bubble gum ester. Lingering hop bitterness with low hop flavor. Clean with no crap going on. Less mineral/plaster in flavor than nose. Lingering honey-like malt notes and light yellow fruit character. Balanced, bright, crisp, malty.

Pours gold into a tulip. Bright white head with good retention craters as it recedes leaving spider lacing. Cracker, biscuit, citrus and meadow aromas. Sharp with hay and meadow upfront turning to mild banana skin before the dry, medium length earthy pine finish.
