Donner is a Belgian-Style Quadrupel brewed with fresh-ground nutmeg and cinnamon sticks, then aged in Sherry barrels for 12 months. This seasonal ale presents decadent notes of dried fig, brown sugar, spice cake, and marzipan. An ideal winter warmer, this strong dark ale is a seasonal treat to carry you through the cold holiday nights

CX draught, 6/15/23. Undetermined clarity. Dark raisin-mahogamy. Neat, dark beige head. Wow initial notes are very promising with rich raisin, toffee, vanilla-like malts and a lovely amount of sherry to balance with it's dryness. No booze, no heavy breadiness, no unwanted yeast character. Strong sherry with accompanying salinity drying things out nicely. Caramel, toffee, raisin, fig galore. Medium body, not syrupy or sugary. Excellent balance and mildness from aging. Love love love that sherry.
