Keg at Alma. It pours reddish - amber with no head. Named after Colin! The aroma is quite soft, peppery, chilli, gingerbread, more mellow than expected, bread, fruit cake and toasty brown sugar. The taste is drying, limited bitterness, earthy, mellow spice, peppery, dull chilli warmth, dried fruits, red fruit, gingerbread and a touch of alcohol with a dry finish. Lighter side of medium with limited carbonation. Would be better with more carbonation. Spice judged fairly well actually. Not bad for what it is.
