500mL bottle at the brewery, 3/4/23. Clear, dark amber-cola. Small, dark beige head quickly to ring. Sweet honey, brown sugar, overripe black cherry and maple. And yet it doesn't smell too sweet, somehow. Good, appropriate acidity without too much acetic. Strong vanilla low red wine. Clean, no alcohol. Soft, juicy, malty, rich, deep malts. More Brett and lacto than anything with very low but just enough acetic character to define the style. Balsam, vanilla, brown sugar, maple, caramel. Rich, intense, authentic. Pretty damned impressive. Just slightly too sweet, otherwise I'd start sending this out to people to try. Still very, very well done for a very difficult style.
