Our West Coast-style Pale pairs Connecticut-grown Cascade hops with a few favorite Pacific Northwest varieties. It’s appropriately bitter, refreshingly dry and strikes that beautiful balance of pine and citrus that we look for in the style.

Brewery draught, 3/3/23. Clear, light copper-bronze. Small, neatly-retained, white head. Pine, flowers, pears, apricots. Nice and bright. Not bogged down by typical WCIPA hop grossness. Some sweat, apple, paper and a touch of oil/acid giving off an almost fish fat character. Idk. Soft, juicy, malty, crisp, balanced, never toouch pine or resin. Low bitterness for style, hell, low bitterness period. Caramel, vanilla, honey. Clean, soft, well-attenuated. Lingering honey dew melon, sweat and star fruit.

Pours clear gold into a shaker. White head with medium retention recedes to hug rim. Pine aromas. Soft with sweet caramel and pine front to back.

Can (6/3/20) pour courtesy of Steve via Ernie--thanks for the opportunity! Appearance is deeply hazy dark yellow-light brown with decent sparkle, finger-width off-white foamy head with fair retention and nice leggy lacing. Aroma is pretty conventional dank, piny resin. Taste is pretty strong dank piney resin and cracker malt background. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, average carbonation and mostly cracker malt finish but with some bitterness. Overall, pretty conventional (as advertised) but strong aroma and flavor. Well made.
