Brewery draught, 2/2/23. Clear ebony. Light-tan head showing moderate retention. This has vanilla and bourbon extract on basically the light lactose stout that they also serve. It's not strong in the nose with just a pinch of both adjuncts. Lots of pleasant roast, lightly vinous and not overdone with lactose. No alcohol or flaw. Soft, malty, though attenuated and still medium-light bodied. Clean with chocolate, vanilla, light bourbon and lots of roast. Quite porter like in today's terms, in that you usually associate more roast and lighter bodies with porters. Regardless, it's competently done and not overdone on extract or lactose.
