Nitro draught at the brewery, 1/28/23. Looks like an Irish Dry Stout. Smells richer/maltier than the standard. Fresh mineral, lower ash/black malt character. Clean. Soft, simple, maltier than Guinn. More vanilla and honey-like base malt character, lower roast but still dry and balanced. Very drinkable.

Taster pour on tap as part of a flight at the brewery. It's an opaque black with no discernible sparkle, finger-width beige creamy nitro head with excellent retention and trace lacing. Aroma is European malts and hops; lightly roasted malts, suggestions of chocolate and coffee but not powerful. Taste follows aroma with European malts/hops a bit stronger and more roasted than aroma. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth, creamy texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, true to style and good strength of aroma and flavor.
