Undated can drunk 1/8/23. Heavily hazy, peachy-golden-maize. Large, well-retained, off-white head. Wow this is a crazy smelling beer. Esters from alcohol and yeast mix with pomelo, tangelo, kumquat, riesling, sauv blanc and gooseberry. Cracker and biscuit with a pinch of honey from the malt balances. Very untraditional and interesting/experimental IPA. Estery though not hot/sharply boozey. No resin/flaw. Tons of sauv blanc character with soft malt and high attenuation. Wow, this really threads the needle between remaining dry enough while still balancing the hops and not coming off too boozey/bitter. I really appreciate the lack of syrupy, sweet, sugary malt used to balance but instead complex hop notes with extremely low bitterness. Not boozey. Gooseberry, kumquat, complex white wine and some light alcohol coming on the very end. Coastal Extreme is pretty frickin' top notch. I gotta keep getting more of their stuff. This is world class, cutting edge IPA.

Pours hazy mango into a tulip. Bright white head with medium retention recedes leaving spot lacing. Hot mango, passion fruit and plastic (?!?) aromas. Soft with hot caramel and sweet mango lassi upfront and continuing to the thick mango milkshake finish.
